Machine Embroidery; upgrading an old blouse





Absolutely loving this Singer Futura. I found some Henna quilting squares on Kreations by Kara that are beautiful. I was able to upgrade a plain black button up shirt I had. 

This picture is the first two blocks of the henna square. Each block has a different color for the henna quilt square, this particular pattern used four different blocks of color.




 I also decided to surround the block with some butterflies I also found on the site. I think this shirt is going to be a big hit on Thanksgiving! 




 In these next two pictures, you can see the singer futura working on my project. I really love those bright colors on the black background.









And here is the finished back. 

I plan to embroidery more butterflies on the front. I could picture this same embroidery on a blue jean jacket. Hmm... might have to go shopping!
